“More dogs are eaten over Christmas (in Vietnam) than any other time of the year” said my private dog meat guide in Saigon, “It’s the Catholics, the Vietnamese Catholics. The Catholic church orders dog meat for ALL their celebrations and Christmas is their busiest time.”
